Recent legislative proposals to modernise the constitution require the establishment of a new Supreme Court, separating the highest appeal court from the Second House of Parliament and removing the Lords of Appeal in Ordinary from the legislature. The location of the new UKSC has been determined in the Middlesex Guild Hall,  a 1913 S. J. Gibson  listed building at the Parliament Square in central London. Currently the building houses the Crown Court. The project is a co-operation among FAM, Foster + Partners and Feilden & mawson, the client liason and project architect. FAM & F+P have been involved in the conceptual stage of the building's renovation.
