| Green Park station is one of the busiest interchanges in London transferring passengers between Picadilly, Victoria and Jubilee lines, as well as to the surface public transport. The new station entrance creates a modern design that responds to the sensitive historic setting of the Park and introduces step-free access to the station from the Park and from Piccadilly. | The copper floating roof of the Pavilion provides a distinctive identifier for the station, as well as an integrated bus shelter, and opens up new views to the Park. A dramatic slice is cut through the landscape to provide a gentle ramped entrance between grassed banks to the station from the Royal Park. > project |
